Enova has separate programs for assessment and energy upgrades in housing associations. As checked on 7 September 2026, the upgrade program lists up to 25% of costs and a maximum of NOK 10 million per project. These are ceilings; applications compete for funding and must meet the conditions.
Support for commercial building upgrades
Existing commercial buildings have a separate energy-upgrade program. As checked on 7 September 2026, Enova lists up to 25% and a maximum of NOK 10 million per project. Its former commercial-building energy-mapping program is listed as discontinued. Check current application guidance before starting.
A battery does not automatically qualify
We assess the complete package against the selected program. Building-upgrade support is not a general battery discount. Show economics with and without a grant and establish the application sequence before binding commitments.
Advice throughout the project
Enfy assists with assessment, measures, calculations and documentation. Any Husbanken scheme is assessed separately by applicant and purpose; Enova rates and conditions do not transfer to other programs. Lundeby is a project-specific planning example, not evidence that your project will receive support.

Questions before choosing a system
- Is support always 30–50%?
- No. There is no universal rate for energy projects. The program, eligible costs and current conditions determine the limit; the award determines actual support.
- Who applies for support?
- The applicant must meet the program requirements. Enfy can assist with documentation, but applicant role, ownership and responsibility must be established before submission.
